NOTD: Chamomile-ion to One

I wasn't able to write any blog posts last week. Sorry. But I am back today with an NOTD post. This time, with the title "Chamomile-ion to One". I used another color from my Sephora by O.P.I. Tinsel Town edition set (see my previous post here). And the color's name? It's again from the box itself.

Unlike the previous colors I showed you, the color this time is of a lighter shade - so light, you can barely notice there's a color on your nails! But, it gives a desirable effect when light shines on your nails. There's a gloss.

The color is so simple - not even fancy, or fierce.

The good thing about this nail color is that it goes with any color of clothes or shoes you are wearing. As for the occasion? It fits any occasion. The only downside is, the color can be easily erased (even after putting on 3 layers of this color). But if you just need a simple little shine for your very plain nails so it won't be boring, then this color is perfect.

You can see in the photo above, I'm wearing these arm candies. They go with the nail color.

The procedure is pretty much just the simple steps -- application of a base coat, then 3 layers of this nail color. Let the nails dry and you're good  to go! :)

Our giveaways are still on! You can join by clicking the hyperlink images on the right side bar. I'm going for a short vacay trip next week but will still keep you posted through our So Sweet Suzette fanpage. And will post photos about the trip soon! *excited* Sweet day! <3

NOTD: If You've Got It, Haunt It

July 10, 2013
2 pm (US time)

Hello there sweeties! Thank you for your giveaway entries! We're 5 days away from the end of accepting entries but we've reached more than 1,500 already! (yay!) I have read all of your comments for the Sweet June giveaway, especially your answers to what you wanted to see more from my blog. And by this time, I really can't promise you anything but I will try my hardest to give you the "things" you've been wanting to see here in So Sweet Suzette. *winks*

I recently received a great blessing from the Almighty. Will share that story later, maybe on a separate post if I will find time. But for now, here's a quick post.

This is just a simple nail color. Not as complicated as my Zebra art last time. And since some readers have been saying that I should atleast show or state a step-by-step procedure for the NOTD posts, then here goes for today:
First, you clean your nails (of course). Second, apply a base coat. You can directly use this nail color, or an option can be of that dark nail colors - black or dark blue perhaps. Then apply 2 layers of THIS color. And then finish off with a colorless lacquer.

THIS nail color :)

You might find the blog title confusing. But the label for our NOTD, "If You've Got It, Haunt It," comes from the box itself.

Tinsel Town edition of Sephora Nail Colors. A gift I received from my Sissy.
THIS nail color is the one on the rightmost side.
So here's a photo of a DARK vs. LIGHT nail color. That's my hand on the left (the darker nail color). Beside it is my cousin's hand, with a light pink nail color.

Actually, she was just the one taking pictures of her nails because she loves how the nails matched with her strawberry ring! Which is just so cute! :) So I joined in. Haha! *Epal mode*

In a few days, our giveaway will end and I'm excited to know who our lucky lady is. Keep sending your entries! <3

NOTD: zzZEBRA Art

June 12, 2013
Wednesday

Happy 115th Philippine Independence Day! :)

It is a non-working holiday today and since it has already been sometime since I had a "Nail of the Day" post, I decided to show you my nails for today. It has a simple but fancy nail art on them, which is zebra stripes-inspired.

Photo taken by pretty cousin Cara Marie Yu
We especially took the photo with my Mossimo shoes behind the nails because I just believe the prints matched, don't they? The only difference is that my shoes has a black-white print, while my nails have black-metallic (grayish/bluish/greenish) colors on them. The nail polish I used was Sephora by O.P.I. - a gift from my Sissy last Christmas.

Here's the nail polish: Sephora by O.P.I. :)
I forgot just what specific color this is. Will update once I find  out. *winks*

Here's another shot with my nails (without filter):

You can clearly see here how the nail colors look like. It's kinda sophisticated and I love it ;)
Mission accomplished for today - a new post! :)
Hope I shared something fun, fancy and artsy to you sweeties! <3

NOTD: Bluer than Blue

Before we all say goodbye to October, I'd like to share to you my NOTD (Nail of the Day). And you read the title right, it's bluer than blue... because I see it as a darker shade of blue, somewhat like the midnight sky, I think. And to add drama, I had glitters on it too.

Actually, I wasn't the one who did my nails. My Mama's manicurista came over (home service) and did mine and my Mama's nails.

Aren't they lovely? Haha!

According to a friend, the nail polish/color somehow suits my fingers and it makes my skin "more white". Also, when I went to the mall the next day after I had them done, the people I met (friends and some old friends) just did notice my nails! Haha!

My toenails are not exempted!

Honestly, I really love the nail color I have now. It's been almost a week and the color's still there. Maybe I'll still have it for two or more days.

Whatever nail color/polish we have, we must always remember to keep our nails clean. Chos :)

So, there! Just a rather quick NOTD post. Happy Halloween everyone! :)
